Mage Run Speed “Road Runner”

This is a build that is focused on the Mage who wants to run very fast. Who needs damage, healing or anything else? Just run! This is not a soul build that is designed for leveling, dungeons, raiding or even player versus player (PVP). This is a spec designed to obtain the fastest possible run speed.

Please Note

Offensive abilities and Legendary choices not directly increasing run speed have been omitted.

A Detailed Play Guide is found after the Quick Start Guide. This build does not require paid souls. Ability links to Magelo.

  • Running across zones for various reasons
  • Various objectives in Player versus Player
  • This is not optimal for any encounter with an enemy

Description Used for gaining as fast as a run speed as possible
Build Build Layout at Magelo
Stat Focus: Crit Power/Spell Power
Gear Required: N/A
Reliquary Reliquary of Domination
Consumables  Tuath’de Insoles, Gedlo Riding Chaps
 Arbiter – 59 Points Harbinger –  7 Points
Choosing Arbiter gives you the advantage of having multiple defense options for running through large groups or very dangerous enemies. Natural Swiftness requires 5 points in the soul first but we gain 8% speed.
Stormcaller – 10 Mastery Selection
We take the Legendary Ride the Wind which is acquired automatically once spending 10 points. This increases runspeed by 50% for 10 seconds on a 20 second recast. It also removes all control and movement effects. C1 – 61  Overflowing Vitality
C3 – 62 Proficient Restoration
C1 – 63 Eldritch Swiftness
C3 – 64 Calculated Annihilation
C2 – 65 Mending Response or Phantom Stream

Almost all of these can be substituted except Eldritch Swiftness
C# us the number of the Mastery from left to right.
