The Nightblade is an offensive rogue who mixes arcane powers with steel for deadly efficiency. Cloaked in shadow they rely on precise strikes of the blade and the cold fires of death to leave naught but ash in their wake.

Nightblade 61 – Ranger 11- Saboteur 4

The purpose of this build is .

  • Provides high single target damage
  • Very little additional utility for the group


Abilities are color keyed as follows:

Green A spell or ability that can be executed from action bar
Dark Red An ability in the tree that causes an executable spell to have additional abilities.
Pink  A Buff that should be applied at all times
Blue A macro (see our Macro guide)
Purple A Mastery Ability

61 Nightblade – 10 Ranger  4 Saboteur at Magelo

Soul Bonus: Each point spent in Nightblade increases damage done by 1%, for a total of 61% total increase.


61 Nightblade gives us access to the full range of abilities including Dark Descent which is a major damage boost. [L] Hellfire Blades Adds damage to every attack as the legendary makes this a buff rather than a cool down. This is one of the abilities that gives Nightblade so much damage over time.

[L] Dark Descent This allows the next six finishers to not consume combo points meaning that you can spam six in a row. Combine this with Legendary Dusk Strike for an added bonus for all six.

How to Play

Buffs That Should Always Be On

Opener: Dark Malady >Builder x 2 > Cool down Block


Pictured are two Karuul Alerts which show emptiness and Dark Descent. Before using cool down Emptiness should be at 5. The Rotation consists the following:

Builder: Build points 5 points for Scourge of Darkness, this is because it will use the combo points for additional damage for the next 10 attacks, the more combo points, the more damage

Scourge of Darkness: Use until we reach 5 stacks of  Emptiness, Using Scourge of Darkness additional damage we now gain stacks of emptiness using Dusk Strike which will gives us a huge boost during the next step when we use finishers. In this macro we also use Ebon Fury so that this ability costs no energy.

Cool down Macro: We now use Dark Descent and spam Finishers until we no longer have any stacks left. In this macro there are two different finishers, one with a short range and one with a longer range.

Filler: Scourge of Darkness should be on cool down. You should have time for at least one combo point Finisher before building additional points to start over.
